Built around the application

Three industries.
One engineering-first approach.

Explore made-to-order development projects, from packaging studies and fit checks to test assemblies and production tooling. Every application is subject to feasibility review.

Images are original concept renders, not customer part or factory photographs. Application examples are development opportunities, not claims of approved road, race or flight use. Safety-critical, pressure-containing and load-bearing parts require project-specific engineering validation and any applicable certification before use.

More ways to develop your next part

Six more applications to discuss.

Start with a project brief, not an assumed off-the-shelf part. These additional development enquiries are subject to material, process and feasibility review; they are not ready-stock or certified components.

AUTOMOTIVE / THERMAL

EV cold plate prototypes

Explore coolant-channel layouts and electronics packaging. Provide heat load, coolant, pressure, sealing interfaces and a leak-test plan.

Send this project brief →
AUTOMOTIVE / INTAKE

Turbo inlet adapter prototypes

Develop transitions between the turbo inlet and ductwork. Define flange pattern, hose interfaces, temperature and installation envelope.

Send this project brief →
MOTORCYCLE / HOUSING

Headlight housing prototypes

Review shell geometry, mounting access and heat dissipation. Supply lamp dimensions, fixing points and finish requirements; lighting approval is separate.

Send this project brief →
MOTORCYCLE / INTAKE

Intake velocity stack prototypes

Compare bellmouth profiles and packaging before validation. Provide bore size, flange geometry, filtration interface and intended test conditions.

Material + process + finish

Specify performance before selecting a metal.

Candidate materials below are a starting point for discussion. Availability, exact grade, build route and properties must be confirmed in the written quotation.

Candidate familyDevelopment prioritiesDefine in your brief
Aluminium alloysWeight-sensitive housings, thermal-management and packaging prototypesTemperature, interfaces, wall sections and finish
Stainless steelsCorrosion-resistant housings, manifolds and tooling conceptsMedia exposure, machining datums and inspection scope
Titanium alloysLightweight bracket and compact structural conceptsLoads, fatigue criteria, heat treatment and traceability
Nickel alloysHigh-temperature exhaust and thermal-test conceptsThermal cycles, service environment and qualification plan

Discuss support removal, heat treatment, CNC finishing, blasting or polishing as part of the same project. As-printed surfaces and machined interfaces have different requirements; identify critical areas on a drawing.

From enquiry to acceptance

A clear route from CAD to delivery.

01 / Define the application

Provide CAD, drawing revision, quantity, intended use, operating conditions and target date. Identify confidential information before sharing files.

02 / Review manufacturability

Review geometry, build orientation, support access, powder removal and finishing allowances. Confirm any design changes before proceeding.

03 / Agree the quotation

Confirm material grade, scope, inspection, documentation, lead time, shipping and commercial terms in writing. Catalogue prices are not binding manufacturing quotes.

04 / Freeze the revision

Approve the drawing and manufacturing plan. Revision changes after approval may affect cost, schedule and acceptance criteria.

05 / Build & verify

Follow the agreed production and post-processing route. Inspection is performed to the scope accepted in the quotation, not an assumed universal tolerance.

06 / Deliver & review

Check part identification, agreed records and packaging. Report nonconformities with photographs, measurements and the relevant drawing reference.

Trust through clear requirements

Know what you will receive.
Agree how it will be checked.

Agree what will be measured and documented before manufacture. Critical features, inspection methods and acceptance criteria should be visible on the approved drawing.

Need material records, dimensional reports or supplier certification? List them in your enquiry so the required evidence and its availability can be reviewed before ordering. Aerospace projects on this site concern development and ground testing, not flight-certified hardware.

Specify the evidence you need

  • Material grade and any required material certification
  • Part number, revision and batch identification
  • Critical-dimension measurement requirements
  • Heat-treatment and finishing documentation
  • Surface condition and cosmetic acceptance
  • CT, leak, mechanical or other testing, if required and agreed
  • First-article approval before repeat production

Project questions

Before you order.

Can you manufacture directly from an STL file?

A mesh can support feasibility review, but it does not replace dimensions, tolerances, units or material requirements. STEP and a controlled drawing are preferred for parts with critical interfaces. File suitability is assessed per project.

Are the illustrated products ready-made inventory?

These listings describe custom manufacturing services and application examples. Geometry, material, quantity, price and delivery must be agreed for your design. Illustrations do not prove prior delivery of that exact part.

Can a prototype be fitted to a vehicle or aircraft?

A prototype is not automatically suitable for operational use. The customer and responsible engineers must establish validation, regulatory and qualification requirements. Flight-critical and safety-critical parts are not offered as certified merely because they appear in the catalogue.

How are tolerances, finish and delivery dates confirmed?

Identify critical features and finish requirements on your drawing. They are reviewed alongside geometry, process and inspection access. Only the written quotation and approved manufacturing plan establish accepted requirements and schedule.

What happens if the design changes or a part is nonconforming?

Submit a new revision before further manufacture; cost and timing may need reapproval. For a suspected nonconformity, preserve the part and provide the order reference, drawing revision, photographs and measurement evidence for review under the agreed order terms.
