Aerospace Ground Test Tooling — representative metal prototype concept
Representative application concept. Your part is defined by its approved drawing and quotation.
Build your project brief

Make the application requirements clear.

01 / PROJECT REVIEW

Sensor mounting fixtures

Identify the sensor interface, measurement direction, mounting datums and cable access. Include the conditions the fixture will encounter during the ground test.

02 / PROJECT REVIEW

Alignment and assembly tooling

Define locating features and the assembly sequence. Provide the reference geometry and the measurements used to accept the tool.

03 / PROJECT REVIEW

Instrument enclosures

Share connector locations, mounting features, access panels and thermal or environmental requirements. Identify service access and inspection needs.

Quotation preparation

Bring the details that define your part.

Prepare a 3D CAD model and dimensioned drawing where available. Identify units, part number and revision. If the design is incomplete, explain which decisions remain open.

  • Ground-test objective and equipment interfaces
  • Datums, alignment and instrumentation requirements
  • Test environment and material constraints
  • Required inspection records and acceptance stages

Confirm the complete scope

Review material, manufacturing route, finishing, inspection and documents together. Identify the included operations, exclusions, commercial terms and delivery assumptions in the written quotation.

Where useful, agree a prototype or sample review stage before authorizing a repeat batch. Any revision change should be approved with its cost and schedule impact.

These enquiries concern ground-test tooling. Flight qualification or approved aerospace-supplier status is not implied.

Project questions

Before you request a quotation.

What documentation should I request?

Identify the material records, measured features, inspection methods and report format required by your project. Confirm their availability, scope and cost in the quotation before the tool is released.

What information confirms price and delivery?

Your approved geometry, material, quantity, finishing, inspection and delivery requirements form the quotation scope. Share a target date and destination early; the final price and schedule are confirmed in writing after review.

How should I share confidential drawings?

Contact us first to agree confidentiality and an appropriate transfer method. Begin with a brief description of the application and the files you need to share.
