Rapid Prototyping Development — representative metal prototype concept
Representative application concept. Your part is defined by its approved drawing and quotation.
Build your project brief

Make the application requirements clear.

01 / PROJECT REVIEW

Fit and packaging checks

List the mating parts and available space. Define the features needed to review assembly, clearance and access.

02 / PROJECT REVIEW

Functional development

Describe the test goal and operating environment. Identify material, finish and inspection requirements that affect the test result.

03 / PROJECT REVIEW

Revision and repeat planning

Use clear part numbers and revisions. Where appropriate, agree a sample review before proceeding to a repeat batch.

Quotation preparation

Bring the details that define your part.

Prepare a 3D CAD model and dimensioned drawing where available. Identify units, part number and revision. If the design is incomplete, explain which decisions remain open.

  • The decision your prototype must support
  • Current model, drawing and open design questions
  • Prototype quantity and potential repeat quantity
  • Target date and acceptance or test criteria

Confirm the complete scope

Review material, manufacturing route, finishing, inspection and documents together. Identify the included operations, exclusions, commercial terms and delivery assumptions in the written quotation.

Where useful, agree a prototype or sample review stage before authorizing a repeat batch. Any revision change should be approved with its cost and schedule impact.

A prototype schedule is confirmed per project after scope and approved files are agreed.

Project questions

Before you request a quotation.

How fast can my prototype be delivered?

Share your target date early. Timing depends on geometry, material, finishing, inspection and quantity. Obtain the confirmed delivery plan and its assumptions in the written quotation.

What information confirms price and delivery?

Your approved geometry, material, quantity, finishing, inspection and delivery requirements form the quotation scope. Share a target date and destination early; the final price and schedule are confirmed in writing after review.

How should I share confidential drawings?

Contact us first to agree confidentiality and an appropriate transfer method. Begin with a brief description of the application and the files you need to share.
